Charity Johnson, Texas

Charity Johnson enrolled at New Life Christian School in Longview posing as a teenager, when she was actually thirty four years old.

She was arrested for giving the police a false name and birthdate when they were called to the apartment where she was staying. In total, she was charged with three counts of failure to identify. She either plead or was found guilty, sentenced to 85 days in jail and fines and court costs, which she appears to have paid.

According to Buzzfeed, "For years, Charity had targeted devout, maternal types with regrets and a weakness for lost, young souls. Women all over Texas, as well as North Carolina, New Jersey, and Maryland, said they had combed Charity’s hair, helped her with her homework, and given her a bed to sleep in. Up until her arrest, Charity kept in close contact with her collection of online “mothers,” from a housekeeper in Nevada to a pastor in Ohio, whom she found through Facebook searches (“pastor” + “teen girls” + “hope”)." The same article implied she was scamming people for love, not money.

Clearly, she's a very damaged person that Child Protective Services failed horribly. She has no newer charges and is not in custody of the state of Texas.

Dawn Booker, Ohio

When one is in high school, one should be having fun, getting ready to graduate, working, learning to drive, but not purposefully spreading a potentially lethal disease. What is wrong with our world that an eighteen year old child who is aware of her HIV status is being charged with this crime? (If she did so, I have no issues with it being a crime, however how does this happen???) Perhaps hook up culture is not a good thing after all, all things considered! In the end she was charged with Felonious Assault and Aggravated Assault, with the former being dismissed and ordered on probation. She has paid her fines, but that's only part of the story....

Dawn had not yet graduated but this arrest puts that at risk. She was on track to do so, but being charged with a felony could make that not possible. A felony changes your ability to pursue college as well. This story is from 2015, but Dawn's been a busy girl since then.

One year after this arrest, she was charged with Assault and Criminal Damage, but both of these charges were dismissed. Six months later, she was again charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault, with the assault charge being dismissed. On 03/18/2019 she plead guilty to Disorderly Conduct. Apparently she has issues with authority, and lacks direction and purpose. Considering HIV can be controlled with the proper medications now, she should be building a future instead of busting heads.

This could be her Facebook, but it has not been active since 2014

Update - someone acting as if they were her (and who knows if it was) was kind enough to leave this comment below: Lmao you really on my DICK BITCH SUCK ITTTTT LOL YOU LOW LIFE NOSY ASS BORED MF YOU WORRIED BOUT MY LIFE WHEN YOU NEEDA BE WORRIED BOUT YOURS. KEEP MAKING BLOGS ABOUT ME IMMA FIND YOU N I WILL SUE YOU

Speaks volumes about her character.

Joe & Evangeline Combs, Virginia

Joe and Evangeline Combs
Joe and Esther Combs was taken from an Indiana Children's Home, but never officially adopted her. He, a baptist preacher and she, the epitome of a pastors wife. The child they took was Elsa Garcia, though she is called (and calls herself) Esther.

She was beaten, tortured, and raped. Her parents were convicted when family photographs turned up in the trash can with her as a child with injuries (black eyes, cuts, bandaged hands). Once this happened, many people who had previously been afraid to speak up, testified. She has 110 scars on her body from their abuse.

There is a special place in hell for this couple - who doesn't know what God says about hurting children? Joe Combs was arrogant enough to take the stand to defend himself. Evangeline Combs did not testify on her own behalf.

Joe was sentenced to 106 years and Evangeline was sentenced to 65 years. The one thing they hadn't counted on was Esther's will to not be broken. She is the definition of a survivor.

It does appear as though Joseph has died in Custody, though if you could mail letters to hell, I'm sure he would receive them.

Marissa Wright, Arkansas

Marissa Wright
Marissa Wright is serving life without parole in the state of Arkansas, for killing two men with whom she had been romantically involved. (Like there's not a shortage of single decent men, and she kills not one, but two. Go figure!).

The first victim, Randall Anderson she was "interrogating" for stealing her mother's jewelry and in her police interview she said if he had told her where it was she would have let him go. Who would steal from someone like that? Regardless, she put a plastic bag over his head and then wrapped him like a mummy and buried him under her Koi Pond. He was never reported missing by his family.

The second victim,

Joe Lee Richards Jr.was angry with her meth dealer and she shot him when he attempted to interfere
with her purchase and then declined to get him medical attention. She buried him just outside of her back door steps. Actually, he was not buried. He was slightly buried and covered with plywood and concrete blocks.

Her story was featured on American Monster (very fitting!). Her punishment seems just. No more men for you Ms. Wright! Welcome to gay for the stay. As you can tell, prison has not been especially kind to her.

Amber Guyger Address

Amber Guyger Mugshot
Obviously, Amber has been convicted. The jury and the grand jury got it wrong in my opinion. Based on the evidence presented at trial, she was guilty of manslaughter which carries a sentence of two to twenty years in the state of Texas. She is the poster child of why you should NEVER speak to police without an attorney (and I'm pro-law enforcement....)

This was the perfect storm of circumstances and it is highly likely a similar murder will never take place again. Another police officer testified with his training he would not have taken cover if he confronted someone in his home and would have taken the same actions. Remember, Amber believed she was in her own apartment. Half  the people living on the third and fourth floors had gone to the wrong door at some point. Even their own crime scene photographer could not identify the floor when presented with a picture of the entry door from the parking garage!

I believe the verdict and sentence is a good example of how juries compromise. It has been said in the press they decided in under five minutes on guilty, but I don't believe that. I think some people were holding out for manslaughter and the murder people said if they relented they would give her an easier sentence. Juries are wild and unpredictable which is why lawyers don't like to go to trial.

As far as the wild rumors - ie she lodged several noise complaints about him, they had dated etc., There was zero evidence of any of that entered at trial and yet people persist in spreading these lies. Now Joshua Brown is dead because of her! She was convicted and sentenced. His testimony (which is preserved on video tape) was not pivotal to her conviction. It really wasn't. I'm shocked there has not been riots in Dallas.

Kathryn Louise Preston, Ditched and Desperate Deadly Women

Kathryn Louise Preston, Ditched and Desperate Deadly Women
Kathryn was featured on Discovery ID's Deadly women titled Ditched and Desperate.  She was born March 14, 1968 and is presently 51 years old.

Her primary means of income was to bear children to a variety of men (five children with four fathers) and receiving child support from the various fathers.

At the age of 43, she convinced Jose Mario Hernandez, 23 that they were married via a ceremony, although it was not a legal ceremony. When he choose to leave her, she beat him in the head while he was sleeping with a brick. When he failed to die, she suffocated him with a pillow and then set his body on fire. Fifteen and half hour later, she contacted 911 whom she told she was a battered woman and killed him in self defense.

This is tragic for the Hernandez family and her five children, though one must wonder if they better off without her. She had attempted to get pregnant by her "husband", however she was no longer fertile at that time. This would have caused financial stress since her oldest children were no longer eligible for child support.

After great deliberation the jury found her guilty of murder and rejected her claims of abuse. She was subsequently sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Brooke Skylar and Annabel Richardson

It's been a minute since Brooke Skylar Richardson's trial for the death of Annabel Richardson, and while I am disappointed, I am not in the least surprised.

People do not understand how a trial works actually, and so many people jumped in to comment. First, this is not white privilege, it's classism at it's finest. She didn't walk because she's white, she walked because her parents put every penny they could get their hands on (and likely borrowed from family) for her defense. Simply put, rich people never face the same penalty or verdicts that the poor do. If you are reliant on a public defender, which poor people are, the best they can hope for is a plea deal where at least they may see the light of day as a free person again. Not convinced? Look at OJ Simpson, the Mendez brothers (who should have gotten death), and AJ Armstrong who killed his parents and his trial resulted in a hung jury. If you are rich, you don't face the same consequences. Recently, a rich (though very delusional and confused) man went on the the Dr. Phil show to declare rich people get away with murder. (I don't think he actually killed his girlfriend, but his statement isn't wrong.)

The problem with the evidence is that the baby was not found until it was fully skeletonized. There were no lungs to examine to see if the baby had taken a breath. The judge, for reasons I can not fathom, dismissed tampering with evidence charges, despite that being fully proven with actual evidence. She admitted to burying the baby (resulting in decay), cleaning the crime scene and disposing off all the blood covered items.

The problem is she said the baby was born dead. There wasn't evidence the baby was dead OR alive. The defense could not prove it was dead and the state could not prove it was alive. This should have resulted in involuntary manslaughter because her own expert said on the stand that had she delivered in a hospital, the baby would have been born alive. This is NOT failure to seek prenatal care, this was knowing beyond a reasonable doubt you were pregnant and making zero arrangements to give birth in a way that was safe and she stood the best chances. In my opinion, based on the evidence, that was proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Another issues I the definition of reasonable doubt. It is not NO doubt, it is defined as what would a reasonable adult think when considering the totality of the evidence alone. A reasonable adult would believe that Brooke could not have a baby. She stated this repeatedly throughout the trial to many witnesses and told the original OB/GYN who was alarmed enough to give her resources regarding hurting herself and/or her baby. It's clear based on her actions, lack of actions and her attitude after the birth she never intended for that baby to live.

She became of the patron saint of modern feminism. She was a victim of the patriarchy. Sigh. Nope, she was a manipulative woman in the classic sense. She might as well have said, but look, I'm white, I'm a cheerleader and an honor student. When confronted, she exclusively used a “baby voice”, but in court she spoke perfectly normal. She was capable enough, despite being allegedly sexually abused to enroll and plan to attend college upon graduation. She also planned to marry her boyfriend. Horribly victimized people are not capable of making and keeping plans about the future.

At the end of the day, she is the only one who has ever gazed upon Annabel Richardson. The only one, and I would imagine there were no kisses or cuddles, just simply hurry up and die already. At the so called sentencing Trey's mother spoke and made a victim impact statement where she informed Brooke she could have had the baby, never told her parents and they would have raised it no questions asked. Brooke had options, but did what she thought would work the best for her.

Her supporters are legitimately insane in their fervor. They call her a victim and make zero references to the baby that is dead. They scream that she's innocent. It's actually quite sickening. She may have had only 11 days to plan, but that's enough. Most horribly abused children who grow up to be adults would never in their wildest dreams imagine so much as hurting a baby, let alone killing it or letting it die. Not this young woman who seemed to have so much, including loving supportive parents.

If you watch the interrogation tapes, you will see these are parents who are literally overwhelmed and exhausted by having dealt with her lies and anti-social behavior. They are neither monsters nor parents of the year. They are tired. If you have not raised a child like this, you won't understand how much works to keep a teen on a life path where they will not self destruct or hurt anyone. I don't gamble, however, I would bet money on this. Her “lack of intelligence” and naivety is all an act she uses to get what she wants.

Trey may very well have been a normal hormone driven boy. If it was so bad with him, why did she go back for a second time? I think this was further justification for what she did to the baby, what she told herself to make it okay. Poor Trey will likely never trust a woman again, and who would blame him? If someone raped me once, it's unlikely I would ever be alone with them again. She so desperately needs attention and approval she absolutely would use sex to get it.

At the end of the day, this trial had a tragic outcome. Annabel never got a chance to live which both families now have to live with forever. Annabel will get a legitimate grave instead of the back yard. Brooke is not gong to skip off into the sunset. Her boyfriend and her are no more. I seriously doubt UC will accept her but if they do, who will even talk to her? Teens are especially cruel. Her dream was to work in developmental psychology with children. No one will ever hire her to work with children ever again. While I have zero ill will towards any of the parties, I will be surprised if her parents do not divorce. The father attended court daily while the mother only attended the sentencing. A public rift despite her trial is a telling sign.
