broken down and then beat and strangled her before stripping her body naked and throwing it into the Connecticut River. The only motive was that Allen wanted to "get a girl".
The victim, was known to them in the past from plowing her driveway. Both Allen and Patricia strangled her prior to her death. Her two year old child was found alone in her car which was idling alongside a road in the night.
During her sentencing, Patricia said, "There is nothing I or anyone can say to make what
you've been put through any easier," Patricia Prue said. "I'm not sorry
we were caught. I am sorry it ever happened at all. I
want to apologize personally for the fact that my husband wasn't a
strong enough human being to admit his wrongs and be able to take his
rightful punishment willingly". Allen has always maintained his innocence despite overwhelming evidence, perhaps to please his mother who insists he could not do this....
Patricia was sentenced to life in prison without Parole. Allen was sentenced to life in prison for attempted kidnapping concurrent with a sentence of
50 years to life for 1st degree murder and a five-year sentence for
conspiracy to commit murder.

We can not provide an address for Allen at this time as he is out of state in supplemental housing. The state is expanding their ability to hold inmates.
